SUPA71, in collaboration with ICF Inc. in the US, conducted a study on forced labor in supply chain industries in Thailand from September to December 2023. The study utilized a mixed method study design, incorporating quantitative, qualitative, and observational methods to gather data from a diverse group of study respondents. This included individuals from various backgrounds such as Burmese, Cambodians, and Thais, who were employed as fishermen or worked in fishery-related industries. Additionally, the study also involved relevant government officials and local civil society organizations (CSO).
We could benefit greatly from receiving valuable information and support, particularly from the government and CSO stakeholders. We greatly appreciate all the support and look forward to the possibility of future collaboration.
