IOM organized a cross-border workshop for Point of Entry (POE) and Immigration Customs and Quarantine (CIQ) officers on communicable disease prevention and sanitation management at the Point of Entry (PoE), and the participation of the Provincial Health authorities will be essential. On February 23, 2023, a workshop was held in the province of Sakaeo to connect, share, and look forward to cross-border cooperation in creating and promoting mechanisms to respond to communicable diseases.
During this workshop, the SUPA71 Team was requested to present its experiences in training migrant health volunteers (MHVs) for the IOM during 2022. SUPA71 would like to thank the IOM for this opportunity to contribute to the improvement of surveillance systems by incorporating MHVs.
